No surprise
Interesting article in Stuff reporting that ex-pats are ex-pats for a reason! Now can someone tell Labour and half the voting public please! An article that starts thus is fairly compelling - surely:
High-earning expats staying away longerI wasn't part of the survey - but am happy to be in the 'tertiary qualified at least 100K club' and I ain't coming back whilst Helen and co are in power (I give it another 3 months by the way). And no - it is not because I want tax cuts first - that is a straw man argument. It is because I simply can not stand Clark and Cullen sneering at wealth generators whilst creating a vote rich under class. Mediocrity ain't my bag baby.

Up to a quarter of New Zealanders living overseas do not know if they will ever return permanently, an online survey has found.
And more than half of those who do plan to come back won't do so for at least five years.
The global census of 29,000 New Zealanders living in 155 countries found that the expatriate community was more significant in both size and talent than in almost any other developed country, with 80 per cent having tertiary qualifications and nearly a third earning at least NZ$100,000.
