Winston, in a word or three hundred

Matthew Hooton, in the Sunday Star Times, does a nice little character assasination of our 'Minister of Foreign Affairs (that Phil Goff is not already looking after)'. Full article is here - Peters CV. The summary;
Peters has given Ngati Wai a story with which to inspire their mokopuna: the young man who went to university and built an extraordinary CV - deputy prime minister, Treasurer, foreign minister and Maori affairs minister. But let us hope they do not ruin it by delving into the detail: that he is all CV and no substance.

With a quarter century in parliament, Peters has spent just four years as a minister, with each spell more ridiculous than the one before. He has no great achievements. And even if he again brings down the government, goes back into opposition and survives in 2008, like Sisyphus, what will have been the point of rolling the stone up the hill yet again?
Hard to argue with that.
